Monica is a London based photographer specialising in portrait and wedding photojourmalism. She completed her foundation course at The London College of Printing in Photography and graduated from the University of Brighton BA (Hons).
“I’m passionate about photographing weddings – a wedding day is the culmination of many months of planning and creative thought, and everyone makes such an effort to look good. I see my role as documenting the day in a way that makes you and all the wedding guests look as fabulous as possible!”
“I’ve been lucky enough to photograph many weddings, and I realised that in those situations I had a strong intuitive sense of what the couple wants from their photographs. It’s an approach I take with every wedding I shoot – taking the time to understand you as a couple, what you want from your day, and how you want to remember it. It’s this flexibility – together with my experience in portrait, fashion and fine art photography – which marks out the work I do.”
“Many people have a strong idea of how they want their wedding photographs to look – but not everyone does, and so in our pre-wedding meetings I’ll bring you examples of different shots and styles and help you define how you want your day captured.”
Monica does not offer any “standard” packages as each couple’s requirements are different irrespective of whether you order prints from Monica or not, you will receive a CD containing all the images from the day.
Monica is fully insured, unlike some photographers and has also been commended by Wedding Photojournalist Association, a well recognised body.
